Is the angle Ric Flair currently involved in setting him up for retirement?
I used to be a diehard wrestling fan, but haven’t watched for several years. I do know that Ric Flair is currently involved in an angle where he must win or retire. Is that storyline a setup for him to put someone over at WM24, and then to bow out for good?
I’m pretty sure he will, otherwise the “every match could be his last” angle would get really old. The problem is that ever since he beat Triple H on Raw, when The Game wouldn’t get into the Rumble if he didn’t win and Flair would have to retire if he lost, everyone knew that it was all just leading up to wrestlemania and any future match Flair had until then he would win. It was a bit silly really since Triple H got into the Rumble anyway. Since everyone knows pretty much how the matches are going to end they are not exciting. The only question now is who is going to be the one to retire Flair at Mania.
